Earth Day is coming soon. April 22 is the day for Earth Day Celebration. How are we going to celebrate? To me, it is not having a party but doing something meaningful for the earth.

Earth is one of planets belong to solar system but there is none like earth among them. We are living on the earth for the given time on the lease basis. We are obliged to take care of the earth best way while we are living so that coming future generations can equally enjoy as we do. In order to celebrate Earth Day best, we could go to the public parks or forest preserves to clean up. We could also stay in our backyard while cleaning, planting or seeding for the earth's sake. You can also join group activities by checking local environmental groups or village, city hall.

Today it has been very nice to do anything outdoor. I spent a great deal of time doing in my backyard such as planting trees, tranplanting flower plants and cleaning pond, so on. I also took some photo-images on my garden. Daffodils are in the halfway to be full bloom, forsythia is almost in full bloom, ground hyacynth and hyacynth are full bloom.

Nature is most precious to us, which everybody can enjoy and cherish. REMEMBER, We have to conserve nature to enjoy it.

Here are some photo-images of my backyard.

WHAT IS EARTH DAY?

Earth Day, celebrated April 22, is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. It is held annually during both spring in the northern hemisphere and autumn in the southern hemisphere. It was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in in 1970 and is celebrated in many countries every year.

The United Nations celebrates an Earth Day each year on the March equinox, a tradition which was founded by peace activist John McConnell in 1969.
